Description

Playa de papagayo is the most beautiful beach on the island with its white sand and turquoise waters. It is 10 minutes away by car from Playa Blanca, the south of the island. There is an entry fee of 3€ and you must drive down a dirt road to arrive. There are various beaches to choose from, each sign posted very clearly. Playa de Papagayo to your left hand side is however the main attraction. The beach is situated in a small cove meaning the water is very tranquil to swim in and you have a lot of privacy. There is a restaurant on top of the cliff side serving traditional Canarian dishes.
