Playa de papagayo is the most beautiful beach on the island with its white sand and turquoise waters. It is 10 minutes away by car from Playa Blanca, the south of the island.

Playa Grande is the second largest beach in Puerto del Carmen and it is definitely the most popular. There are sunbeds and umbrellas to rent at a reasonable price and pedal boats with slides can be hired for an hour of fun.

Famara beach is located on the North-east coast of Lanzarote. This beach is approximately 5km long and is a main attraction to surf schools.

Playa de las cucharas is the main beach in Costa Teguise being a very popular spot for tourists and also locals. Many windsurfers enjoy this beach due to the trade winds in the summer and national championships are held throughout the year.
